Terms of Service

By commissioning or purchasing goods from Corvaneli you agree to our terms which include: bespoke design timelines, payment milestones, ownership transfer upon final payment, and bespoke product non-returnability unless there is a manufacturing fault.

  • Quotes and estimates are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
  • Custom commissions require a deposit (typically 30–50%) to commence work.
  • Lead times vary by design and material availability; estimated timelines are provided in writing.

We recommend retaining all documentation and design approvals for future reference and warranty claims.

Consumer Guarantees & Fair Trading (NZ)

The Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) provides statutory guarantees for goods and services purchased in New Zealand. Corvaneli complies with these requirements: goods must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, match description, and any services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill.

Under the Fair Trading Act 1986 we must not engage in misleading or deceptive conduct and must provide accurate descriptions of products and services.

If a product fails to meet guarantees you are entitled to remedies including repair, replacement or refund depending on the circumstance and severity.

Workbench and tools

Please notify us as soon as a problem is discovered. For workmanship or manufacturing faults, we will assess and offer an appropriate remedy in line with NZ law.

Repairs, Returns & Warranty

Corvaneli offers a workmanship warranty on repairs and new bespoke pieces. Warranty scope and duration depend on the piece and materials; please retain proof of purchase.

Cancellation rights vary; deposits may be non-refundable if work has started. We will discuss cancellation terms prior to commission.
